Community Profile

Saginaw is a place all it's own. Situated in the Great Lakes Bay Region, Saginaw is rich with urban and rural amentities. The City of Saginaw is the largest metropolitan area north of Flint and therefore, has benefited by being home to many great cultural resources such as the Saginaw Art Museum, Temple Theatre, Japanese Cultural Center and  Pit and Balcony Theatre. The Saginaw Children's Zoo has won awards for their innovative thinking and world class treatment of animals. The city is also home to three museums, the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History, Mid-Michigan Children's Museum and the Theodore Roethke Museum. Our park system is vast and includes an island park in the middle of the beautiful Saginaw River, many playgrounds, ball diamonds, a splash pad, skate park and fitness pad.
